Go ahead and add me to your web page. Maybe some of my old shipmates will respond, they would all have to be at least 60 by now. After the ship was commissioned, we took a shakedown cruise from New Orleans through Panama onto San Diego then a 12 month far east “good will” tour. After returning to home port (San Diego) I was discharged 1/61. I remained in contact with a few, but after time lost all contact. It was interesting to see a web page of the old ship. Has it been scrapped yet? Regards
